RDC & RCMC observed the 44th Aniversary of National Mourning Day as The commemoration of 15 August, 1975

Homage was paid to the father of this nation and country’s founding president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman recalling his struggle for the independence of Bangladesh as the National Mourning Day was observed across the country along RCMC & RDC on Thursday marking the 44th anniversary of his assassination.

Principal Prof. Dr. Hafizul Islam along with Director Bir Muktijoddha Alhajj Mejor (Retd) Md. Nasim Uddin, other honourable professors and management team arranged a prayer after hoisting the national flag and placed floral wreath at the commemorative painting of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman first.

On 15th August 2019, the 44th anniversary of the martyrdom of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning day was observed at RCMC and RDC premises with due respect and solemnity. On the occasion authorities had been enlisted few elaborated programs during the day time which were included: hoisting of national flag at half-mast, wearing black badges, mourning rally, placing floral wreath, discussion, documentary film show and photo exhibition.

Principal of RCMC Prof. Dr. Afruza Bulbul Akhtar along with Director Bir Muktijoddha Alhajj Mejor (Retd) Md. Nasim Uddin and other honourable professors also placed a floral wreath at the commemorative painting of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman first. Then different groups of students, professors & lecturers, doctors and interns also placed floral wreath.
