RCMCH & RDCH organised Discussion Session with Rangpur Metropolitan Police

Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud visited Rangpur Community Medical College & Hospital to attend a discussion session with foreign students of Rangpur Community Medical College and Rangpur Dental College who are studying in MBBS and BDS course respectively. He accepted the invitation and cooperated with our authority of Rangpur Community Medical College Hospital to organize this influencing meeting with foreign students to inspire and feel comfortable about their presence in our rangpur region. He has said that Rangpur Community Medical College and Rangpur Dental College are playing a big role in the development of the health sector in North Bengal. He also admitted that Foreign students enrolled in these medical institutes of Rangpur Group had never violated the law and order of our country by following the administrative rules of these medical institutions.

He also said, “I expect that the chain of these rules and regulations will hold the students’ discipline of these institutions in future as well. He added that the Rangpur Metropolitan Police will always extend their kind helping hands if foreign students need any assistance for their visas or any disturbances. He kindly expressed his pride after observing the presence of the largest number of foreign students from different countries and cultures studying on the same premise and living in harmony. He urged more and more foreign students to come to Rangpur Community Medical College and Rangpur Dental College in Bangladesh to complete their studies in medical care and return to their homeland to serve in self-esteem medical services.

He spoke with the foreign students while proudly addressing the initiatives to arrange this discussion session between foreign students and Rangpur Metropolitan Police which was organized by Rangpur Community Medical College Hospital on Tuesday night. Rangpur Group’s Deputy Managing Director Md. Asraful Alam Al-amin, RCMC Principal Prof. Dr. Shamsuzzaman and Head of the Rangpur City Special Branch Md. Abu Bakar Siddique also spoke at the meeting to welcome these initiatives of our governments and Bangladesh Police. Rangpur Deputy Commissioner Md. Asib Ahsan, Additional Superintendent of Police of Rangpur Metropolitan Police Md. Mehedul Karim, Assistant Commissioner of Police (City SB) Md. Sharif Al Rajib, RCMCH Director (Hospital) Swapan Kumar Barman, RCMCH Additional Director (Hospital) Merazul Mohsin, Foreign students of Rangpur Community Medical College & Rangpur Dental College, Senior officers from all levels of the Rangpur Metropolitan Police were present and involved in this meeting and its initiatives.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (City SB) Md. Sharif Al Rajib presented remarkable infographic slides to assist our foreign students in their visa processing and providing the proper safety concern in our locality along with the help of Rangpur City Special Branch of Police. His presentation was very much successful to inspire our foreign students joined the discussion session and very resourceful to note down the details needed for staying in Bangladesh. During the discussion session, the rules & regulations to protect students and foreigners regarding Bangladeshi laws and the initiatives taken by the department of Bangladesh police and its special branch for ensuring the safety in the movement of foreign students were highlighted through the presentation.
